6 Things Brides Should Bring On Their Wedding Day!

First Aid Kit For Brides!

We are dedicating today’s post to the comfort of brides. On your wedding day you will likely be hungry, thirsty, sweaty, achy and more. We have made a small list of things that will literally save you on your wedding day. You can call this our first aid kit for brides.

Snacks & Water

Like we said, you will be hungry and thirsty. Yes, you will probably be having a luncheon and a dinner but let us explain… Most brides plan more than they have time for on their wedding day. Just about everything will take longer than you expect. Don’t be surprised if you are running late for the entire day.

Trust us, bring a few water bottles and snacks, you won’t regret it! We have seen countless brides miss their own dinner because they are chatting with all of their dinner guests.

Makeup & Hair Spray

As you already know, makeup and hairspray don’t always last the entire day; especially if you are hot and sweaty. Having makeup and hair spray with you will allow you to touch up between events.

Tooth Brush, Breath Mints or Breath Spray

Your wedding day is full of tasty food. Most of us know that delicious food often leads to bad breath. Having bad breath on a day when you talk to hundreds of people is embarrassing. Chewing gum looks a bit tacky while in a wedding dress. Breath mints and a tooth brush are the perfect solution to the problem.

Advil or Ibuprofen

On your wedding day you will be standing and smiling all day. Every bride will experience her fair share of aches and pains. It is very common to experience headaches, backaches and achy feet. Advil or Ibuprofen will make your experience much better.

It is also common for brides to get upset stomachs. This is usually because of nervousness and anxiety. Bring Tums or Pepto-Bismol if you have a history of getting an upset stomach during nervous situations.

We already promised that you will have aches and pains. You might not get headaches or stomach aches but every bride gets achy feet. Bring flats to change into when you can’t stand the heels any longer. Remember that your dress usually hides your feet so it’s ok to be comfortable.

Deodorant & Perfume

Even brides that have winter weddings get hot and sweaty. This is part of weddings. It is important to have deodorant and perfume to ensure that you always smell pleasant for your wedding guests.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. If you have any other suggestions for our “first aid kit for brides” feel free to leave them in the comment box. Enjoy your wedding day!
