It is impossible to tell you everything that you need to know about weddings in one blog post. That is why we continue to post. Today we are posting a few random suggestions that will help your wedding go a little more smoothly.
Suggestion 1: Flats are the way to go!
It is important to brides to have amazing shoes. Time after time we see brides wearing tall and extravagant heels. They always look nice but being in heels all day is never fun. Your wedding day will be one of the longest days of your life. You will have the ceremony, the reception, the lunch, the dinner, pictures and so on. Heels look great but you will never want to walk again if you don’t have comfortable shoes. Find some flats at a bridal shop. They look nice, and they are comfortable.
Suggestion 2: You may not want your DJ to take song requests.
This is a weird suggestion but let us explain. Disk Jockeys are a great addition to any wedding. Most of them are happy to take song requests. The only problem is that sometimes your guests get a little carried away with song requests. This makes it hard for the DJ to make the party flow. Give your DJ a list of songs that you want played and then let him or her do their job. They are good at making things flow smoothly. If you want your guests to be able to request songs, have your Disk Jockey accept song suggestions and pick the songs that will bring life to the party.
Suggestion 3: Wait for the Honeymoon
One of our brides told us about one of her biggest mistakes. She bought her honeymoon plane tickets and planned to leave at 5:00am the morning after the wedding. Like we mentioned earlier, the wedding day will be one of the longest days of your life. It is hard to leave the reception at a decent time. All of your friends and family are celebrating your future. It will be a long night.
If you get to sleep by 1:00 am and have to be at the airport by 3:30, you will have some regrets. Our suggestion is that you give yourself a day or two between the reception and the honeymoon. You will have a much more enjoyable experience if it is not rushed.
